You will oversee a team with market expertise whom speak directly with buyers, understand how they buy and their decision criteria. Furthermore, your leadership helps them transfer that knowledge to sales and marketing channels. You will also lead strategic efforts including launches supporting go-to-market efforts for all of our Cloud Automation capabilities. You will partner with product management to develop and communicate our product strategy, ensuring sales teams are equipped with everything they need to succeed. Own and deliver compelling messaging and positioning, go-to-market strategy and pricing and packaging for Cloud Automation within our Cloud Management Platform, reinforcing our core messages and drives brand awareness of VMware as leading cloud automation vendor. Communicate the value propositions, driving the development of sales tools that support sales execution. Ensure content (e.g. case studies, sales enablement materials, product videos, web copies, competitive differentiation, white papers) communicates the unique capabilities of our platform in customer language. Market intelligence, acting as our buyers' guiding authority. Conduct partner / market surveys and interviews to build expertise in the market, customers and competitive landscape. Speak and present both externally and internally to promote our customers' stories, our platform and our solutions. Communicate customer requirements and provide input to product management on product enhancements and future product direction. Hire and train an exceptional product marketing team. Required Qualifications: Shown tenured (10+ years) of enterprise software product marketing experience within high-tech companies that target IT organizations. Cross-functional team management, influence without authority, including senior management and extended partners. Extraordinary analytical mindset, assembling and interpreting data, building executive summaries that deliver actionable business insights. Strong project & organization management skills with the ability to optimally structure and prioritize work. Experience speaking in front of large internal, external and global audiences. Preferred Qualifications: SaaS market knowledge. Bachelors in business, engineering or computer science (MBA a plus) - or related industry experience.
