The Business Development Manager will oversee promotional partner prospects and support the team in securing strategic partnerships for (RED). The ideal candidate will bring experience from a business development standpoint including previous work with sponsorship and other corporate/private sector models This is a full-time, exempt opportunity reporting directly to the Senior Director Business Development based in our New York office. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL - Cultivate and develop new promotional partner relationships, qualify prospects, and determine partnership viability and creative ideas based on business strategies/challenges - Support growth of EAT (RED) SAVE LIVES by pitching chains, product outreach and cultivating media partnerships - Support growth of (SHOPATHON)RED via product partner outreach and qualifying prospects - Support pitch preparation by gathering materials and briefing documents - Enable better management of data and communication by enhancing the use of Salesforce - Support development of a CRM strategy including efficient processes for prospect invites, regular communications to prospects and updates on (RED) - Manage Business Development tracking list and keep regular updates going to and from the (RED) Executive team - Support partnerships team on growth partners to ensure we are maximizing the long-term relationship potential (i.e., converting promotional partners) - Communique management draft letters, decks and outreach - The Business Development Manager is a mid-level professional role and will serve as an individual contributor within Business Development. - May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives; - Serve as an internal resource for the Business Development team. - Research projected costs for departmental activities upon request and recommend expenditures to budget manager while ensuring proper approvals have been obtained for business expenditures within assigned budget. - Additional duties as determined.
